Tamara Monod

Hello, my name is Tamara Monod, (pronouns She/Her) and I am looking to gain experience in the field of Human Resources.

I would like to acknowledge the opportunity I have to live, play, and learn in the traditional unseeded territories of the Lekwungen and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples. 

 

I spent my childhood roaming the forest and mountains in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. In 2011 I moved out to Vancouver Island to pursue further education and quickly fell in love with all that this dynamic landscape offers. 

 

I earned a BA from the University of Victoria and will soon be graduating from Camosun Colleges Business administration and Human Resource Management program. Through my work experience, I have gained skills in onboarding, employee relations, and customer service. My soft skills in empathy, leadership, and organization are just a few of the many natural abilities that I bring to any team projects and daily life.

 

My values are equity, inclusion, and growth through curiosity and creativity. I believe that when these values are fostered in the workplace the positive effects will spread to the community increasing everyone's wellbeing.  

 

With my education, work experience, natural skills, and values I know I will be an asset to any future employer. I look forward to the learning opportunities and challenges ahead.
